App: Simply Random

Title: "Simply Random"
Basic description: Get a random picture, word, or phrase.

UX/UI: As soon as user opens app, all three randomly appear (to show that it works well). At the bottom, there would be three buttons [Image][Word][Phrase]. When clicked, a new random one will appear on screen. The next ones should always be pre-loaded so that UX is fast and user isn't having to wait for images to load from Internet.

Better ideas:
- Allow users to rate each random item thumbs up, thumbs down, and/or star (for favorites page).
- Keep track in database each image user has seen and what it was rated (or not). Show higher rated ones to new users more often, though never in same order as anybody else.

Advanced ideas:
- Allow users to write short 140-character stories about each of the images/words/phrases and save/share/show them.
- Have a page in the app that shows publically shared stories. Allow users to re-use the "random" items shared to write another story, or add on to it another 140 characters.
- Hold "contests" for best/longest/superlativest stories.
- Introduce themes to talk about. Or, perhaps a certain word has be used once, twice, or five times in a 140 character story.

Notes:
- Internet shouldn't be required to use this app. There should at least be a small dictionary of images/words/phrases to use.

Monetization:
- No ads for first 100-200k+ downloads because there must be a good user base to grow and create the content.
- Introduce Pro features (like drawing on screenshots) only after 10-20k or 50k+ downloads because you want to make sure people are actually going to use it before wasting time on "useless" features. Before adding Pro features, you (dev) should have gathered much user feedback.

ps - Feel free to use to this idea (and/or extend it). All I ask is that you (1) let me know about the published product via comment below or email, and (2) use a different title other than "Simply Random".
